Staff Profiles
Chris Slider, MBA, CPA
Chris received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Utah Valley University and his MBA from Utah State University. After receiving his MBA he continued on to become a licensed CPA.
Chris and his wife, Megan, started their own business in 2001 providing accounting, payroll, and tax return preparation services. In 2014, they decided to expand their business and Chris purchased a CPA firm here in Payson. They understand that in this industry that having integrity and providing best quality service possible for their clients is not only key to their success, but the success of their clients. Chris and his staff work very hard at making sure that the firm’s clients are satisfied with their experience here at Slider CPA, Inc.
In addition to the business, Chris has over 20 years of accounting work experience with various employers. He has worked in the banking, construction, manufacturing, and public accounting industries. Chris has been exposed to all aspects of accounting and business during his career. His accounting experience includes fixed asset reporting, general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivables, payroll, and financial reporting. Chris’ most recent employment was with a CPA firm located in Orem where he learned different ways to approach accounting and tax related issues.
Chris is originally from Southern California. While attending UVU, he met his wife who is from Spanish Fork, Utah. After they were married, they lived in Spanish Fork for about six years. In 2005, they decided to move to Payson and have enjoyed being part of this great community. When Chris isn’t at the office, you can most likely find him on the trails in Payson Canyon either trail running or mountain biking. Chris also enjoy’s coaching his kids’ soccer teams and spending time in the great outdoors with Megan and the kids.
